BigID Introduces Industry-First Hybrid Scanning for Cloud Native Workloads

BigID, a data discovery and intelligence platform, has launched hybrid scanning for cloud-native workloads. This industry-first innovation combines side-scanning and direct-scanning techniques for data discovery, management, and protection. 

According to BigID, combining these two scanning techniques allows for rapid onboarding and scanning of large volumes of data. Side scanning is used for initial discovery, while direct scanning is used to process and gather deeper insights.
