Unleashing generative AI’s power: Secure the future of your enterprise at the Atlanta AI Impact Tour (April 10th)

Join us in Atlanta on April 10th and explore the landscape of security workforce. We will explore the vision, benefits, and use cases of AI for security teams. Request an invite here.

We’re excited to bring our AI Impact event, which focuses on putting AI to work in the enterprise, to Atlanta on April 10th.

The event brings together leaders in generative AI and enterprise security, and features case studies from industry giants like Honeywell and Ally Financial, showcasing how they’re both leveraging generative AI applications, but also using AI to revolutionize security operations.

This exclusive salon event, limited to 50 attendees, is designed for enterprise technical decision-makers. Dive into the intriguing world of generative AI and security, and learn from others’ experiences around the emerging area of generative AI. Enjoy networking opportunities, food and cocktails.

I’ll be flying in personally from San Francisco to lead some of the conversations, and am looking forward to meeting security and AI leaders from the Atlanta region. We’ve had some great discussions and insights from our first few AI Impact Tour stops (see some of our coverage from SF and New York, for example, and my write-up from Boston’s event last night will come soon), and I’m eager to see where the bleeding edge is around security and AI.

Honeywell’s secure generative AI journey: Sheila Jordan, chief digital technology officer at Honeywell, will share insights into the company’s adoption of generative AI across its global enterprise.

Jordan will also discuss challenges associated with gen AI applications and how Honeywell prioritizes security in its deployments. This includes its data governance strategy for managing data input and output. She’ll also delve into how Honeywell partners with cloud providers like Microsoft to leverage their generative AI tools while shielding proprietary data.

Ally Financial’s secure generative AI strategy in action: Sathish Muthukrishnan, chief information, data and digital officer at Ally, one of the nation’s largest digital banks and leading auto lender, will showcase Ally.ai, a secure generative AI platform that manages how the bank orchestrates large language models (LLMs) for its applications and switches between different LLMs according to an application’s needs. He’ll discuss how Ally is exploring and testing generative AI for:

  • Fraud detection and prevention, proactively identifying trends and patterns of fraudulent behavior.
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) support, providing internal investigators with recommended next steps to improve efficiency based on the type of alert received.

Muthukrishnan will explore the unique data warehousing infrastructure Ally has built to keep personally identifiable information (PII) secure within its ecosystem, even when interacting with LLMs. He’ll delve into Ally’s robust governance procedures that include interactions with internal and external stakeholders that research firm Gartner has said is unique in the industry. Ally cites these controls as one reason it has been able to deploy generative AI applications where other banks have been slower to do so.

Securing your org with AI: Joining the discussion will be Kelly Bissell, CVP and deputy CISO at Microsoft. He’ll present Microsoft’s insights into how organizations can use AI to secure their operations. Bissell will also discuss how Microsoft Azure empowers organizations to leverage generative AI while maintaining robust security controls. (Disclosure: Thank you to Microsoft for sponsoring this event, and making it possible!)
